Pivoting to
Education

Being in education was like a whirlwind romance. The idea was nice but the reality was another story. Teacher turnover is high but the heart of a teacher is priceless.

First Year

“I was so excited pre-first day of school. The funniest part was having parents come in that had seen me in the dentist office and then asking where the teacher was. I was like, It's me! Seeing their face was priceless. That was my best year. The parent support was amazing."

Third Year

"I realized quickly no matter how much time I invested in a program, procedure, or organized myself to be more efficient, I never felt like an expert. There was always a new policy, a new program to adopt, or just a new idea to try. I was learning along with the kids most of the time."

Eighth Year

“After the fifth year, I started researching what else was out there. I realized I had friends who didn't even go to college getting more promotions and had a better life-work balance than me. I was in the same school as my kids yet I felt so distant because I was always busy. Summers were nice but either I got caught up professionally or with family. Never felt like I could do both.”

preach!

Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19

God is a Waymaker. He takes the impossible and makes it possible. Are you in front of a sea, a mountain, an obstacle that seems too high?

Your Waymaker is ready to move in your favor.

Look up, Pray up.
